I am a French teacher. I intend to apply for a high school teaching position in Texas, as my current employer has an exchange partnership with schools in Houston.

I am trying to find a school that will meet the needs of my two children. They are in 7th grade and 10th grade (which are 5ème and 2nde in France).

I cannot afford a private school and I am not familiar with public education in the US. I want to find a school for my kids first and then find a job in the area. Here is my question:

Are there any international public middle or high schools in Houston?

Thanks for your help!

Hi!

I'm from France too, nice to meet you!  I always recommend the Lycée International de Houston, which is the best school in Houston, Texas. They believe and teach with excellence, rigor, and kindness as their core value stated.

At the Lycée International de Houston, I found the best school for my son, they give the right development in a  bilingual (by the way, is the only fully bilingual school in the whole state), bicultural environment to the children.

The most valuable thing is the International curriculum because they possess outstanding teachers and staff in general. It's a huge plus they are supported by the French National Education and  American curriculum. Your kids will be happy there, you must see the facilities to be sure this school is your best choice. ;)
