Hello... I am an indian national who is completing almost 3 months now in a multi national forex trading company in dubai and i am on 6 months probationary period and have an unlimited type of contract..due to some reasons i have to resign from the company and go back india.. I wanted to know if I am liable to pay any charges to the company such as visa charges or others?.. ad also do I have to serve 1 month notice period.?..as per my contract there is nothing mentioned such as that I have to serve notice period or pay charges..still I am confused... please help

Hi Sahik,

From what I understand, under UAE labour law, employers may not ask for repayment of visa or recruitment costs from employees under any circumstances.

The laws regarding the notice period for resigning during a probation period are a bit unclear, but the standard is one months' notice - if notice periods aren't mentioned in your contract, I would assume one months' notice to be safe.
