We're moving to Minneapolis in the fall. I've heard mixed reviews about the state of education in Minnesota. Are there decent public schools in Minneapolis? Or should I rather look at sending my kids to a private school?

Hey GlobalNomad, there are a number of good public and private schools in Minneapolis, but it depends on where you'll be living in the city, as the standard of schooling varies from suburb to suburb. Charter schools are another good option in Minneapolis - these schools are privately run public schools that often offer a better standard of education than the regular public schools. Private school in Minneapolis are expensive and competition to get into the best schools can be tough - but if you have the budget to afford private education for your children, it's still the preferred option.
