Hi everyone, I'm from Turkey and live in Turkey. We will start to live in Brussels as my husband will work in an expat position. The most important thing I'm wondering is our daughter's education there. We've got a daughter who will be two and a half years old when we arrive there.

I've been researching online but I think that the ideas of experienced people are more valuable and considerate. The company will pay the school fees but only for French-Dutch local schools. However, we prefer a bilingual (English-French) school if we will be able to afford.

So could you please give me some information and tell the most suitable alternatives of schools?

Hi mtunc,

As your daughter is still young you could look into the opportunity of sending her to AC Montessori which takes students from 18 months old to 12 years old. Each class has a native French speaker and a native English speaker so your daughter will be exposed to both languages.

For other options check out this list of International schools in Brussels.

Best of Luck with the move.

Hi I'm from Turkey as well, and will be moving around December 2014. My daughter will be almost 4 by that time. I am also looking for a French public school , I will be working in Diegem very close to train station , so before finding a rental in Brussels I like to have school ideas . I would definitely check Montesorri schools if I could afford , since my daugher is attending a Montesorri preschool in Istanbul already. Are there any Montesoori schools you could suggest? @mtunc : [email protected] if you like to discuss/share more :) Thank you
