Looking for a US curriculum at a reasonable price, but a high standard. I'm not sure if that exists, so feel free to recommend all good international schools in Dublin!

Hi-

These schools don't offer the American curriculum, but they do offer an International Baccalaureate curriculum:

St. Andrew's College
International School of Dublin
Sutton Park School

All are co-educational, but fees are high. If you're looking to save a bit of cash, don't count out the Dublin public schools. Though the curriculum isn't exactly the same as the States, and it doesn't exactly prepare students for the SATs or ACTs, it still upholds a high standard. Lower level kids who won't have to worry about testing for awhile are usually fine in the public schools.

Hi Sally, Ireland's education system is excellent and you therefore should also consider putting your child into a local school in Ireland. Have a read of our Education and Schools in Ireland page to learn more about this. However, if you're wanting a list of international schools take a look at International Schools in Dublin.

I wouldn't touch Sutton Park with a bargepole, their literacy programme is far below the national average, and most of their money goes into trips abroad, to give an impression of high quality learning. Waste of money.

St. Andrew's College, Dublin. Expensive, but you can do PSATs, SATs etc.
