I have been in Riyadh for 2 days now and am staying in a furnished apartment paid for by the company. I have been told that the best and quickest way to get into a compound is by word of mouth. Can somebody please help? Does anyone know of any expats compounds which have housing available for family of 4? I have my wife plus 2 young girls (aged 3 years and 7 months)

Hi Saad,

If you haven't found a propety as yest, I would suggest utlising the services of an agent or contacting the compounds directly to see if they have any availability.

Eid Villas Compund, Arizona Golf Resort and Al Hamra, all cater for expats with famillies. Have a look at our Accomodation in Riyadh page for their contact details and futhur information.

Hi, I am moving to Riyadh in one month and I'm looking for a studio or something of that sort in one of the expat compounds. I would also like to know which compounds are best for bachelors. Thank you

It is difficult for expats to live outside of compounds for cultural reasons and therefore recommend a compound. The top compounds for expat families are Al Hamra and Cordorba and Arazona compound.

I am probably very late in answering but there are many available 4 to 6 bed villas for families at the Ishbilia Compound formally known as Al Jadawel close to King Fahd football stadium.

There are many new compounds coming up in Riyadh city like Al Bustan, California, etc. They are all new and strictly for westerns.
