Hi all, my husband has been offered a job in Enterprise Square,Kowloon Bay, hopefully starting in a few months. We would appreciate any advice on how to pick an rental agent, any recommendations? ALSO,good areas to live within a 30/40min commute? Thanks in advance! Sammie

I think Tseung-Kwan-O is a good location, with a variety of accommodations to satisfy all budgets and taste. So check our these property agent sites to have an idea of the offerings around Kowloon Bay or Tsueng Kwan O. Hello. Working in Kowloon Bay is nice! Maybe you can choose a place to live in Kowloon, perhaps Tsim Sha Tsui. You may check out DASH Suites: www.dashsuites.com They offer decent serviced apartments in Hong Kong, especially in Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay, with reasonable prices. Enjoy your stay:)

yup, I heard from my friends that DASH is an expert in serviced apartment in Hong Kong, especially in those hustle and bustle areas. Pretty nice;)

Hi All, I am a Business analyst with 7 years exp, i have got an offer in HK with 45k per month after tax, I will move along with my family (my wife and 2 kids )and they provide medical insurance for my family also, can anyone answer me the below questions 1. is 45k good salary for my exp 2. how much i can save per month (i am not lavish) 3. what will be the rent for 300-400 sqm house near cause bay

The answer to your question about how much you can save a month really depends on your own standards and lifestyle, but to get a rough idea have a look at the Cost of Living in Hong Kong page - right at the bottom of the page there's a cost of living chart with a few estimations of common prices, but the rest of the page has important info too. It also has an estimate of accommodation prices.
