Hi, I have got job offer in lagos in one of the company, they have offered me 2100$ per month. Company will give family accommodation in 2BHK apartment, rest water and electricity bill is I need to take care. Company will give car with driver and fuel. I will shift with my wife and 3 year kid there, education cost and food expense i need to take care. Medical mine is 100% given by company and for family 50% by company. Kindly confirm whether this is good offer? How much I can save? Regards, Vishal

Expats are not advised to move to Nigeria with children. It is not the most child friendly country in the world and school fees are pretty extortionate. Fees for international schools in Nigeria start at around USD 12,000 and reach up to USD 22,000 per year - almost as much as some people pay to attend university.
When considering any job offer in Nigeria - ask yourself whether the offer sounds too good to be true and is it drastically different to jobs you've had in the past. There are alot of scams originating from Nigeria where you'll be asked to part with certain personal details for a job which are subsequently used to commit fraud.
