we are looking at relocating in june 2013, and ,my daughter will be starting her A levels, does singapore follow the same eductaion sysytem as the UK? would A levels in singapore be regarded the same as the UK should she want to go to UNI in the UK in 3 years?
Singapore follows its own education system, and the Singapore high school leaving qualification is considered to be top quality.
As your daughter is so late in her schooling career I think it would be a very bad idea to switch to a different system at the last minute. It's a much better idea to get her enrolled in a school that follows the British system (i.e. an international school). The problem is that a lot of the best international schools in Singapore have long waiting lists, so this needs to be your top priority. They are also much more expensive than Singapore-curriculum schools. You could also look into some distance learning options for her.

You can download the Singapore Schools Guide (it's free!) for an overview of the school situation in Singapore. Then have a look at these write-ups of the best international schools in Singapore to help make a decision.
