Dear all, First of all I'm sorry if this is a double post. I couldn't see my earlier post after I pressed the submit button. But anyway, I have recently been offered a job at one of the universities in KSA. The offer specifies that I can bring my husband and up to two children with me. However, when I mentioned to the saudi arabia embassy in my country that my children were adopted (since birth), they told me that the process won't be straightforward. I have to leave for KSA first, get my iqama then apply for my adopted children to live with me. The same process does not apply to biological children - they could leave for KSA with the parents without having to wait. I was wondering if any of the forumers here, who have adopted children and now are working in KSA (with their children) could share their experience with me - what to do, what to expect, what documents do I need to get ready etc. Since my children are still small (6 & 9), my husband will not travel with me and will wait for me to sort out the visa for the boys. My next question is how easy will it be for a woman to sort this out on her own, without her husband or a male companion to accompany her. Furthermore, one of the officers at the embassy said that "the Saudis don't really believe in adoption". I'm not sure what he meant by that statement. Is there any way I could appeal for my children to travel with me. Can the university help at all? My fear now is that the university may not be able to do anything. Thanks.

did you manage to bring your adopted children to Saudi and what paperwork did you need.
Thanks
