How do I cancel a visa and reapply in Qatar?

I have a qatar work yearly resident visa status valid to use. But i havent used it. I want to cancell that visa and apply for a new one. 1) time to cancell that visa? 2)can i apply instantly for the new visa after cancelling the old visa?
