Hi there
My husband is getting a job as a lecturer at a South Korean university, and I was thinking of starting a branch of my bakery there at some point. Is this feasible? How difficult is it to start a business in South Korea?
Any advice and insights would be appreciated.

Most of the steps required to start a business in Korea can be done online, and within a week.
Aside from administrative issues and getting start up capital together, I think it would be a good idea to familiarise yourself with the business culture there. The good news, in short, is that it is possible.
Have a look at our Doing Business in South Korea page to get you started.
Best,
