Does anyone know how long a family visit visa for Saudi Arabia is good for once it is issued?

Once you get your family visit visa stamped by the Saudi embassy of your country you have 90 days to use it. Then once, you go and enter Saudi the visa is good for another 90 days. It's not the best situation for booking flights, but it's just the way it is.
