Life in Raslaffan, Qatar

Hey there.i am considering taking up an Expat offer that will find my wife and I based in Raslaffan, Qatar. Can anyone give me a heads up about life in Raslaffan? Is there much Expat activity happening there, or would we have to commute to Doha to eat/ shop/ play in our spare time? Is there enough happening to keep my wife occupied during the day when I am at work? Would really appreciate some information, as all I have been able find is info on Doha.
