In general, the medical tests for Dubai include tensing for certain communicable diseases, including tuberculosis, leprosy and HIV/AIDS. If you're applying for certain visa categories (babysitters, housemaids, nursery and kindergarten employees, employees at barber shops, health clubs and restaurants) you will need to take a test for hepatitis B. If you are not affected by one of the above diseases you shouldn't have too much to worry about.
Questions surrounding people with hepatitis are common on our forum. Hep B is the main issue, and it should only be a problem for people working in certain industries such as food preparation and medicine. However, you always hear incidence of other people getting rejected as well so I would advise you to speak to your employer about what their experience is with people in your position.
Good luck,
Shantalie
