The first thing you need to know when applying for a work permit in Oman is that the burden of the applications rests with the sponsoring employer rather than the expat.
If you already have an Omani employer that is willing to sponsor you, then they should take care of the paperwork. They will also deal with the issue of residency.
Before travelling to Oman with the intention of working there. You should note that the Omani authorities are making it increasingly difficult for companies to hire foreign nationals. You will really need to have specialist skills and experience to get a job offer.

Hello Everyone I have got an opportunity in the known company in Oman. The problem is this they required my original document to sent them via courier for that they require my degrees to be attested from the Omani Consulate and Omani Consulate attest the degree when higher education commission of Pakistan attest it issue was that HEC Pakistan required 25 days to attest the degree. I am really puzzled that whether the Company will stay with me with that offer for that longer period of time.
2nd Should I send my original documents to them?
3rd what is the minimum time taken by the company over there to process labor visa. Since I have to resign from my present company .
I would like to know about the Working Time in my offer Letter is given as ( 10Hrs a Day and 7 Days a week ). Company have told me that leave and salary increment will be there after the PDO Registration. Am an Electrical Engineer and would like to know about the PDO registration and my concerns in offer letter
Why nobody answer about original documents??? Is it necessary for Oman’s job visa? I also have same problem my employer ask me about original documents through courier.
