hi, I will be moving to Joburg in June with my 2 year old kid. Can you plz suggest me on daycare facilities? My office is around Kalvin Drive. R//Faiza
while I have no experience with nursery schools, my kids being older, I think I can point you the right way for more information. There is a fabulous website for families with children called Jozikids, and here is their nursery school listing: http://www.jozikids.co.za/johannesburg/education/schools/preschool/nursery_schools/johannesburg/. For a location close to Kalvin Drive, I would look in the Sandton/Bryanston/Morningside area. There is also an excellent preschool next to the school my children go to (Dainfern College) called Country Readyness, and their info can be found here: http://crschool.co.za/. However, that is not particularly close to Kalvin Drive, but since you might choose to live in the Dainfern area, it's an option. It starts at 2 and a half years old. Another one in this area that I have heard good things about is Broadacres Farm: http://www.broadacres.com/.
Stepping Stones Pre-Primary School
Where tomorrow's leaders progress by leaps and bounds today
We are an independent pre-primary school in Sandton, Johannesburg. We are registered with ISASA which is an independent Association of top-quality schools that include schools such as : Roedean, St John's and St Stithians. We have a strong team of graduate educators that have specialized in preschool education and assist the children in reaching their personal best in all key learning areas. Please feel free to view our website www.stepping.co.za. We have a number of expat families in our school community. I will happily take you on a school tour should you be in Johannesburg. Kind regards Margot van Ryneveld - Headmistress
