Hi Can you advise what documentation is required for the following nationals to work in Romania for 8 weeks? • Brazil • Mexico • Japan • Korea • China Short term visa? Entry visa? Letter from employer (who is based in the UK) Thank you in advance. Pam
Morning Pam
If you are only coming here for 8 weeks and not receiving any pay from Romania, we can arrange a business visa which allow a stay of up to 90 days per 6 months
I would be happy to you with this.

As Dean has indicated above, if you won't be receiving any money from Romania itself, you may be eligable for a business visa.
Read the Expat Arrival's pages on Work Permits for Romania for more detailed information. As you mentioned nationals from a whole range of non-EU countries, it might be best to approach the Romanian Ministry of Home Affairs to get more specific requirements for nationals of each country.
Hi,
Thank you for the information. I just have a couple of questions - Does the business visa apply for individuals who are from countries outside of the EU? And will they only require a business visa or will they need an entry visa too?
Thank you
Pam
Technically they will be working for the UK Company and just doing some work for a Romanian client out there for 8 weeks. This is why I was confused as I'm not sure if this means they will be there to 'work' or on business.
Thanks for all the help so far!
Everyone needs a visa to work in Romania, but it will be easier for EU citizens to get a visa. Romania operates according to a quota system - there is a limited number of foreigners who are granted work permits each year. Having a job lined up is not a guarantee that a visa will be granted.
