Hi The1SkyMaster,

Getting to grips with property terminology can be difficult when moving to a new country.

Row houses are known as terraced houses in some countries. The houses are joined together in a row and there are no gaps along either side. Houses can be either 1/2 storeys high

Maisonettes are generally 2/3 storey houses. They are usually detached or semi detatched.

Corner houses are those on the corner of the street, so they just have one neighbour and they tend to be a little larger than the rest of the properties on that that street.
