Working in IT in Calgary

Hi everyone, I'm moving over the Calgary in about a month and was just wondering, as a foreigner/expat from Australia - I am looking to get a job in IT. I've had close to 10 years experience in a range of areas. I am just wondering, do you need any sort of accreditation/valuation of your skills before you are allowed to work in IT in Calgary?
