VPN programs

Hey guys, Was wondering how many of you make use of VPN programs while living in Australia? I work for HMA! (HideMyAss), UK based VPN company, and we've got a lot of customers who are actively using these types of services when living abroad - to control how they're seen online, take down any geo-blockers etc. (Netflix is a big one). I personally would say that this type of service is helpful when relocating, as it doesn't force you to stop your other service subscriptions - but I don't see any posts about this type of thing.
