What do I need to know when renting a place in Kuala Lumpur?

Dear Experts Me and my spouse will be relocating to Kuala Lumpur within next 2 months with a job. This will be our first time visit to KL. My office will be at 10 Jalan Munshi Abdullah. Kuala Lumpur, 50100. I am looking for a fully furnished accommodation preferably near my office in a safe and secured environment with basic amenities like transportation, shops, hospitals, utilities and etc. My budget will be between 1000 to 1500 RM / month. Please help me with the followings - -Nearest residentials areas near the office location -What are the standard duration and legal documents to check for while renting -How is Security Deposit paid Many Thanks in advance.
