I will like to buy a car to travel in South Africa and neigbours countries. Is it possible to buy it as a Tourist? Do I need a temporary visa, residence or any kind of permit to do this? Thanks a lot, hope somebody can help me with this. Best regards, Leticia

You will need to obtain a Traffic Register Number to buy and register a car. You will also need a permanent address to obtain one.
