Indonesia worker lost passport and work permit?

Recently i have one Indonesia foreign worker go back to his own hometown- Surabaya had lost his passport and work permit which attached together in his passport. He has made a police report for this incident due to stolen.

In order to re-do the passport, i understand that he need to back to Indonesia immigration. But for the work permit in Malaysia, can i know what is the procedure for Malaysia side in order to re-print the work permit in his passport? He have the permit and passport record out from Malaysia, is there any problem with new passport to enter in Malaysia again?
