Hi guys!
I am finding it extremely hard to get the information I need, online.
Hopefully you would be able to assist me or point me in the right direction for answers and help with the procedure.
* I am a South African citizen and married my Polish husband here in South Africa. We have been together for more than 10 years.
* We want to move to Poland towards the end of the year to assist with the caring of his parents as well as then live there.
* Their ages are 16 and 18 and are coming with us. They will most probably end up travelling by themselves once we are there.
I need to know what the process is and what the way is forward for us to get everything in place in order for us to settle there.
I look forward to hearing from you and your assistance.

I usually find that the best way to get detailed specifics is to contact the Polish Embassy in one's country directly. However, from what I can tell, you would need to live in Poland for two uninterrupted years with your husband in order to apply for a settlement permit. Is your husband still a Polish citizen? Thereafter, your children would be able to join you, but only if they haven't reached the age of majority. I suggest you look at the citizenship requirements for Poland here to see if your children qualify.
Does this help? For future reference have a look at the Moving to Poland guide to get a better idea of what life might be like.
Best wishes
Kate
