Hi,
My wife and I are looking to retire to Cyprus in the near future. My wife is receiving ongoing treatment for cancer in the form of Herceptin (Breast cancer) and we are desperate to find out if this treatment can be continued if/when we relocate?
Any advice on this matter would be gratefully received
Many thanks
Adrian
The quality of healthcare in Cyprus is quite good, and there are some clinics specifically geared for oncology. Where are you from? EU citizens and permanent residents qualify for the state-funded healthcare, but patients with chronic issues might need to pay. It's a good idea to check whether you're covered and research private health insurance as well.
Have a look at our guide on healthcare in Cyprus.
Hope this helped!
