Hi-

I'm looking to land an Au Pair position in Berlin for the duration of the summer (2011). Can anyone point me in the direction of a resource listing or a good point of contact. I speak English and a little bit of German; I'm busy taking classes now, and I plan to continue to do so once I arrive.

Check in the "Classifieds" section of Exberliner.com. It's an English site for expats in Berlin, and there's usually plenty of listings for babysitters/Au Pairs.

Otherwise, get in contact with Au Pair Berlin. They pair nannies with families in the city, though the contracts usually last for a year.

Hello Stephanie, I have been working as an Au Pair 3 times in the last years. I could not have been a better experience personally and professionally. I always search for new families in www.aupairnet24.com as it is completely free. You just have to register, find your ideal families and send them messages. I wish you the best luck in your search!
