I am a single female intested in finding a teaching job in Abu Dhabi, but before I started my job hunt I wanted to do some preliminary research. Is this a field with a lot of job opportunities in AD, and is it financially feasible to have a decen lifestyle in Abu Dhabi based on teaching salaries? What should I look to include in a relocation package - do they still even offer these?

Abu Dhabi is, unfortunately, well-known for its school scarcity problem. In the past, there's just not been enough seats for internatioanal students (foreigners can't attend public schools), and as a result efforts are being made to expand the education available to this demographic. It follows that teachers are always in demand in Abu Dhabi. Your best bet would be to get in contact with a recruitment agency - Dynamic Personnel and Search Associates have both been used by a lot of expats in the past.

Comprehensive relocation packages to Abu Dhabi are a lot less common than they used to be (like 2 years ago), but  you should still try your best to make sure certain things are included in your job contract: health insurance, a salary that's high enough to cover the INCREDIBLE cost of accommodation (or a housing allowance), a furniture allowance or a shipping allowance if your salary won't be enough to get you a furnished place, etc...
