The Swiss are notoriously private and secretive about nearly everything, and salaries are no different. As a result there's often little info out there about how much people are making and what you can you use as yardstick. That said, Salarium - is a great resource which provides information on specific jobs based on your age, experience, and education. It's only currently available in French, German and Italian - but see if you can use Google Translate to get it in English.
Also keep in mind that taxes will be deducted for each pay cheque you receive. These can amount to a fair bit of cash, so don't get too excited by a high monthly gross.
All this said, the Swiss are known to provide employees with slightly higher salaries.
For good life in zurich, 10'000 per month less
Rent 2500 min. For something decent...
Taxes, 20-30% if you are not married to swiss taken off byemployer monthly
Living : transit, health, food, petty fees, insurances 1000-1200
The rest is disposable and you can save something
You can use the salary calculator, at least it can give you an idea of the expected salary.
