Going to be in Brussels for a few days and wondering if it's worth renting a car, or if public transport in Brussels is sufficient....any advice welcome!

Hi cornwall, the public transport in Brussels is quite extensive, and you're not likely to need to rent or buy a car, especially if staying in the central regions of the city, and unless you're wanting to explore other parts of Belgium outside of Brussels. There are numerous options for travelling around the city, including the tram, buses, taxis and the Metro. For a general overview of what you can expect of Brussels public transport, have a read of our Getting Around Brussels page.

Hello, I'm going to be relocating to Brussels and will be working near Vilvoorde. What would be the best areas to live in Brussels (with kids) where I wouldn't have to make long commutes to work? Thanks in advance.

Without posting the exact work address, I really couldn't help you further. Vilvoorde however might be a good start.
