Hello,
Do I need to provide any receipts to claim the living allowance as well as housing allowance in China mainland? Or if it's stated in the offer of employment, I just assume I will get it full and use it as/if I want? THank you for clarification
Do you know if an accommodation stipend is tax deductible? According to the accountancy department at my office, I have to pay the same tax as that I pay on my salary. What are the so called "tax deductible allowances" then?
Whether you are expected to provide receipts will depend on the company. You should check with HR about the companies requirements.
Good luck
