I am moving with my boyfriend from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. He will be working as a expat and I am writing my graduating research for bachelor degree. We are planning to stay at least a year. What is a good neighbourhood to life? It doesn't have to be really big, just big enough for us two (and for me to study). My priority is clean and safe. Nearby the centre is of course nice, but not necessary if there is any transportation around? Hope you can give us advice. Thanks!

Hi Danielle

Where you live in Kuala Lumpur all depends on your budget, lifestyle and where you'll be working etc. As a start, I suggest taking a look at our page on Areas and Suburbs in Kuala Lumpur. This should give you a good overview of the different expat-friendly neighbourhoods in the city. For more on finding accommodation there, also take a read of Accommodation in Kuala Lumpur.

All the best of luck with your home search and move to KL!

Hi Danielle, I have an apartment located near the city centre. Its view overlooks klcc. Why not take a look? Facebook.com/elijahhomerent or email us at elijahhome@outlook
