I have selected as a plant operator in Libya. how many days it will take to open an account by the client for me in Libya, because the client is telling that it will take nearly 3 months. Is it true or not.
It is almost impossible for expats to open bank accounts in Libya. Most foreigners have their salary paid into an off-shore account.
It is slightly worrying that the employer has said it will take 3 months so ask them exactly when you will expect to start work and where your money will be paid till the account is sorted. With any job offer you should not be paying any more to the employer or having them back-date your pay.
you can open account withing one day but when you have work visa stamped at your passport. you need a letter from your company to bank for opening account and 4 picture copy of passport .
