I lived in Yanbu Saudi Arabia alomost 40 years ago and am writing a murder mystery with Yanbu as the setting. Would like to communicate with a current resident to see how the city has changed.
I would expect you'll find that life in Saudi Arabia has changed quite dramatically over the past 40 years. Major cities such as Riyadh and Jeddah have become more international and the expat community has certainly grown. Yet, the country has maintained its culture and expats have to make adjustments when moving to the Kingdom.
