Hi
So, I'm considering starting a Western bakery when we move to South Korea while my husband works at a university. I was wondering about how easy it is to get around and whether we would need to get a car, not only for business purposes but I was wondering whether it would be worth it for us to get around with in general.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi Jenny
Most expats in South Korea manage to get by without a car. The public transport system is generally very good for getting around the city, and exploring the countryside can be done with a hired car. City traffic can be really congested and a bit chaotic by many people's standards.
Of course, your business changes things. Have a look at our Transport and Driving in South Korea page and, if you haven't yet, our Doing Business in South Korea page.
Hope those help.
Good luck,
Xavier
