Hi there,
I have read through the forum and it is very useful. My question is if you think HKD 20 000 / month would be ok for food and fun for a family of four (small kids) if accommodation and daycare has been already taken care of? I am conscious, the amount will not be enough for a splurge, just curious approx how far will take us? Can you please give me an idea? Thank you so much in advance...

Yes, education will be fully included, but not the private classes. They are very young, so for now I think it will be preschool and we organise programmes for them

Should be OK but a bit tight for food, clothes, transport, entertainment, kids' extra-curricular activities and medical expenses.

Will your kids' education be taken care of as well? Depends on what school(private, public or international) your kids are going to and extra course (music, instruments, language, arts etc.) to take.

Please keep in mind that accomodation is your biggest expense and decent apartment starts at 15000 HKD.
