Hello there, my dad and I are planning to move to the Sunshine Coast, Australia in a year or two, and my dad wants to start a computer software business over there. Is the Sunshine Coast a good place to actually start a business? Or can we do it in another Australian place, because the Sunshine Coast is just palm trees and surfing.

Recently received an offer from a bank in Qatar with a salary and allowances of QR14,800 + medical + life insurance + return airfare. I have another offer in my home country i.e. in Dhaka, Bangladesh, which is from a multilateral development bank, with salary and benefits of QR10,800 (approx. as converted from BDT) + Medical + yearly Children allowance. Moreover my wife is also working in Dhaka. I'm in a dilemma whether to accept the offer from Qatar or to stay in Dhaka, as i find no short term benefits in the offer from Qatar. What may be the long term benefits of working in qatar?

I found this link on this Regulation about the Social Security. I am a foreign teacher and therefore I am sure the company would definitely be a participating company based on this alone. It feels, though, they are avoiding this topic when I ask about it.

Hi there, I am new to this forum! But in need of some advice about my scheduled stay in South Africa. I have been to SA last may, and I was astonished by the beauty of the country. While in Bloemfontein I was offered a scholarship at the UFS. The bursary is around R80,000 a year, I know this is not enough to live on, so I scrapped some savings and an additional bursary from a private fund, and it comes down to a monthly allowance of ~R 18,000. Will this be sufficient in Bloemfontein and have some good South African r&r?

Any advice on best areas to live in Astana ? We will probably be moving the first part of March. Will there be many 2-3 bedroom apartments available at that time of year? Thank you for any ideas, information.

My husband has been offered a job in ankara turkey so the lawyer responsible for processing his work permit says he needs to get an expatriate travellers insurance certificate with Ataturk insurance company. The problem is we don't know where to find their agents here in south africa. Please help as this is a mandatory requirement in order to get the work permit.

Pls, help! The employer are offer to work in Abudhabi. The need me to apply the work permit and visa by Ethad tour agency. Question is? 1. The employer should cover the cost? 2. I have recently moved to live within the United Kingdom capital - London. The city is wonderful and all that jazz but.. It turned out I wasn't fully aware of a thing or two.. Hey guys, Was wondering how many of you make use of VPN programs while living in Australia? I work for HMA! (HideMyAss), UK based VPN company, and we've got a lot of customers who are actively using these types of services when living abroad - to control how they're seen online, take down any geo-blockers etc. (Netflix is a big one). I personally would say that this type of service is helpful when relocating, as it doesn't force you to stop your other service subscriptions - but I don't see any posts about this type of thing. Do you guys use services like this?

I am a civil engineer with four kids from Canada. I have go job offer from a contractor with family status at a salary of 2500 O.R with accommodation, car and medical benefit for myself only. Hi my husband has been asked by his company to move to another office which is in Breda (we are currently from the UK). We would be happy to go but we have a dog and a horse. Where can I find houses with land for rent near Breda or a house with no land but has livery (horse boarding stables)nearby? Would we be better living just over the border in Belgium?
