Hello, I work in Beijing. I teach at a public school which sponsored my visa.

My question is: Is it necessarily illegal for me to work part-time for a different employer? My contract stipulates that I can only work for another employer if the school gives me permission. Do they have that discretion? If so, do they need to take any specific action?

Hi All, We are planning to move to Bengaluru from Silicon Valley, USA. We have 2 kids 7 1/2 and 3 1/2. From next year, I will have the possibility to work in an American company as a service technician. The company will provide me the working visa for USA. I want to live in Vancouver, BC - Canada (the company policies allows me that). What kind of visa do I need in order to live in Canada and how can I apply for it? Hello all, I've read that the town of Grantham in Lincolnshire is reasonably commutable to London and offers rather affordable housing. Can anyone tell me what the town is like? What it's reputation is (if it has any)? Is it a crime riddled area and that's why the housing cost seems low or an undesirable place to live? Thanks for any info or resources! -nancy
