My wife, 16 year old and 3 week old daughters and myself are moving to Wellington. I am looking for information on schools in Wellington. I have read the posts and many of the international schools talked about are in Auckland. She is currently in her 10th grade year and wants to go back to university in America when she graduates. I'm trying to decide between international, public or private schools. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What should I state as expected monthly salary?

I've just applied for a resident visa (through marriage) in the U.K. I am originally from the U.S and was wondering if anyone has any experience on purchasing a home with U.S forms of income. For me, I currently receive US Veterans Benefits and social security. These are my two forms of income. Can these be recognized as a verified form of income in order to obtain a mortgage to purchase a home? This would be happening in a couple years time of course, but I'm under the impression it would be counted as "solid" income to purchase a home with my wife.

Firstly any advice from anyone living in Oman would be greatly appreciated so I hope to get a few responses. I have got an offer for an IT company in Oman, Muscat. The company is offering me 1200 Oman Riyals.
1. Should I accept the offer?
2. My wife is a senior IT Network Engineer and if at all I plan to move, will she be able to find a job in an IT firm there? I have come to know that any relatives or spouse cannot work in the competitors firms in such expatriation cases. Is there any way out or anybody can share there experience if encountered the same scenario. This would really be helpful in taking the decision.

I may have plan to move to Belgium with my son in 2-3 yrs time. By the time we move, he'll start middle school. Any advice if I should put him in local school or international school? Reading information in this website, international school is expensive but on the other hand, entering local schools mean my kid has to learn French/Dutch. I am interested in moving to Portugal to help open an office and I am wondering if there is a business out there you can pay to handle all of the logistics locally. These forums are useful, however if a company intends to move several people maybe they would be willing to pay to have it all handled locally so the employees are not expected to do it all individually. Hi, Do you have any idea how to pay customs duties via SADAD? I have a package sitting in Dammam for customs clearance. Follow up question: I have been ordering online before in Jeddah and Riyadh but I didn't experience any problems with my packages with customs. Once the package arrived in the areas above, an EMS operator will call me and then deliver the package straight to my address. All of my packages (including the one in Dammam) are sent via EMS (Express Mail Service). Are there any threshold for parcels for online orders? If yes, how much and what is the limit?

I am an indian national who is completing almost 3 months now in a multi national forex trading company in dubai and i am on 6 months probationary period and have an unlimited type of contract..due to some reasons i have to resign from the company and go back india.. I wanted to know if I am liable to pay any charges to the company such as visa charges or others?.. ad also do I have to serve 1 month notice period.?..as per my contract there is nothing mentioned such as that I have to serve notice period or pay charges..still I am confused... please help
