I got offered a job in south korea that's not professional and its not teaching so I was wondering what kind of visa should I obtain that will allow me to work and live in south korea for a couples months or 1 year?

Hi, we are an Indian couple moving to Muscat, as my husband has got a good offer from a MNC. We have a 6 month old daughter. Can you please suggest where can we rent good apartments/society where we have some Indian families too. 

Has anybody attended DIT or another school? I'm looking into getting my masters in information systems/data analysis. In the US I would have to get another undergrad before being able to apply for a masters. We don't have any pre-masters programs. I'm assuming this would also affect my job hunt. Any help would be great!!

Hi, We are planning to move to Oslo and wondering about schooling for my 4 yr old daughter. Our intention is to be in Oslo for 3-4 years. I need to understand what type of school/curriculum should we go for? An International School or a local private school offering Norwegian curriculum? We are worried if we go ahead with local curriculum, how easy or difficult would be for my daughter to adapt to a different curriculum after we leave Oslo (i work for a MNC so might keep changing location). I am interested in working in Saudi and I have applied to Saudi Aramco several times, I haven't been successful at present but I am going to keep trying. I am trained in Technical/Process Hazards Analysis/Process Safety as a Scribe and Document Controller roles using SAP and I have had a lot of experience at Conoco Phillips/Jacobs. I am working currently at the moment in the NHS in administration. I have also applied to Randstad In the Middle East and I am on Monster and various other job sites. I am not having much luck I dont know if they tend to recuit Saudi nationals only?

I am considering whether I should send my daughters to summer schools. They have 3-month-vacation and I'm too busy to take care of them. Does anyone here have some information about the summer courses? I want a course that provides more outdoor activities or something around than academic lessons. p/s: I'm living in HCMC - Vietnam. Hi so I have been offered a job to work in a bar in Bahrain, will 350BD be okay since I dont have to pay rent,bills etc..Im currently living in London so usuallly have bills in abundance. My family dont want me to go as I wont be given proper holidays until after my 2 year contract is complete!!!!!(giving me 60 days annual leave) I have been advised I can take under a month off when Ramadan is on(unpaid though). with one day off as well.. Somehow this should put me off pursuing to move to Bahrain but I feel I need a change. Also, I have quite sensitive skin, the sun usually helps.

I have got an opportunity to work in lagos, automobile industry (sales), with a salary of 1900 usd. along with bachelor accommodation, transportation provided by company, food prepared by cook (have to pay for that). Is this a good offer for a position in Lagos?

Hi, we are planning a move to LA, we have 2 girls aged 5 and 7, we have a good life in the UK in a large 5 bed house, at great schools, but we are looking for a more outdoors lifestyle in better climate - i.e. we are dying for daily blue skies.

The focus is good schools, a nice neighbourhood that won't kill me on rent, a decent sized house +3500 sq feet (ideally with a pool but not total necessity)

Hi, I am a market research professional from India and have got an offer of RM 8900 pm.I am currently single but will get married in 6 months. Relocation to Kuala Lumpur is supposed to happen by end of June The company is ready to bear a cost of RM 16500 for shipping of any items from India to Malaysia. Just wanted to know if there are any specific items that i should get shipped from my home country. Items that are expensive in KL as compared to India or stuff which may me useful in 6 months down the line when i get married.

My partner and I intend to move to Australia as soon as the visa process is finished so we are looking at schooling for our son (secondary education will be 12 when we move). We had looked at the Tarneit area but have read lots of bad things about crime, drugs and some racial comments which has got us concerned about the area. Hello, I have been waiting for my work visa 2 months now and the moi government site shows that it's still being processed. How much longer should I wait before losing hope? Is there a chance that it will be rejected? 

I am a Scottish citizen living in Scotland, but working worldwide in the oil and gas industry. The plan is to complete a series of health and safety Diplomas and apply for work in NYC in order to work and live there within 5 years. However, is it possible to only apply to live in NYC and not work there, as most of my work is in Brazil? Is there a specific type of green card application for that? Thanks. James.

Hi We are thinking about moving to Gib with a job opportunity however we have 2 children ages 4 and 9 The plan was to live in spain close to the border and walk into Gib however I have heard that we would have to pay for schools. 2 questions 1) what state schools would you recommend in Gib 2) does anyone know what kind of costs we should be expecting? I’m a British guy thinking about living permanently in Guilin or Yangshuo. I have quite high standards for aesthetics. On the other hand, I’ve lived in Manila (Philippines) for a few years so I know my way around a slum. However, I’m really trying to avoid a repeat of Manila conditions. Now…to my problem…I’ve seen photos of Guilin looking beautiful (can fall in love with it!!!) but also I’ve seen photos of it looking horrid and slummy. I can’t figure it out. Can you please explain this to me? Are there just some bad parts of town?
