How do I get health insurance for Israel?

Hi there! September 1 I move to Israel for on year post-doc research job, being paid by the uni via student scholarship. To obtain health insurance, do I just wait until I arrive, and then go and visit an insurance agency? Or must I organise this beforehand with an Israeli agency? A few questions about the USA

Hi, I am looking at moving to Chicago with my husbands work. We have 3 kids and I have a lot of concerns about the US. First I grew up in Canada so cold winters, flat land, everything miles apart doesn't worry me what does is as follows: School fees - I understand in the USA there are fees for books etc. which can be expensive. what do you have to pay for? is it just books? how much averagely or worst case scenario is it? Jabs - I looked up the American immunisation schedule and see that kids have jabs nearly every month when little and many until 12ish.

Experience with special needs child?

We are a family of 4 and live in The Netherlands, and have been asked whether we would consider moving to the Bay Area (in/around Santa Clara, CA) on a 2 year temporary international assignment. Our youngest son is diagnosed with Phelan-McDermid Syndrome and we have another boy who just turned 6. Our youngest son's mental and physical development is significantly delayed (for example: walking just before turning 2 years, at age of 3 only speaking in 1 syllable words) and he requires continuous stimulation and monitoring on his development.

Can I work in Jakarta under my husband's visa?

Hi, Just found out today that we'll be moving to Jakarta with my husbands work. We are planning on taking our beloved family dog with us (boxer x lab). Are my funds sufficient for Brussels?

How long does it take to process a work permit for Poland?

Hi all
I have been offered a Software Engineer position in Krakow. My company is handling doing all the work permit stuff for me. My application has been filed with the authorities and I'm waiting for approval. But I have few questions on my mind.
1) How long it will take for the approval of the work permit? Few people are saying 3 months, others say 15 days - I am not clear on it.
2) What would be a good salary for this position?
3) Is cost of living is high or low?
4) Is the country is safe?
