Hi, There are 2 places on LMRA's website where information about Pre-employment Medical Tests is available:

On the web page, an HCV test is mandatory for all expatriates while on the PDF, it is only for Health Care Workers. Kindly tell me which one is correct?

About moving to Paris

I am currently working in Dublin, Ireland and have been approached about a job in the centre of Paris (located in the 9th).

My wife and I have discussed this and she is afraid that the move would be too difficult for the kids to adjust. As it happens, My wife is from France and the kids have good (but not perfect) French. They are aged 12, 10 and 6.

Dear Friends, I have been deputed to Sweden for work will be staying here for more than one year,I came here on 16-Dec-2013. Right now using my friends mobile no that's comviq one and also in my work place I have been given a mobile so that I can use it for official purpose. Right now I use cheapvoip to get connected to my family and friends..it work out well, I think i will go with it for calling to India Right now I am looking for reasonably good and cheap mobile internet service provider, here i will be rarely using it for calling..my propriety is of internet usage.

Hi, We are considering relocating to Singapore for a few years with my husbands work. We have 2 boys who are turning 5 and 7 this year. Our 5yo has global developmental delay and ADHD. He talks but his speech isn't always understandable due to being born with a cleft palate (now repaired) and his developmental delays. In Australia he has just finished Kindy where he had an aide in the mainstream class room and also had speech therapy and occupational therapy weekly.

Exchanging a U.S. Driver's License for a French Driver's License?

I have dual nationality with France and the U.S. (I have a passport from each country). I am from New York state which is NOT on the list of reciprocity states for getting a French driving licence. Declaring criminal records on a work permit application for Canada

I had a DUI but have had my rehabilitation request approved by the Government of Canada. Do I still have to declare the offence on a new work permit application and therefore provide all the additional police checks required, or if it's my only offence, can I now check "No" to that question?

Getting New Zealand superannuation in Thailand?

Hi, People tell me that you cannot collect N.Z 'superannuation' in Thailand. It seems that W.I.N.Z and N.Z immigration work together so that when you leave N.Z immigration log you and so do W.I.N.Z and also do the same when you return to N.Z. It seems to me unfair that if you are entitled to 'Super' you should be able to spend it where and when you choose. So if I am entitled to 'Super' and want to retire to Thailand, can I do this and collect 'Super' in Thailand.

Hi all, i had been offered a job as Quantity Surveyor in oil & gas company in Oslo. I have BSc. Civil Engineering & 4 years and half experience in oil & gas QS. They offered me salary package which are: Hourly rate of NOK 360 + 12 % vacation pay + Mob/demob, VISA, pension, insurance and all costs decreed by law covered by PDS(hired HR consultant) Accomodation and home travel not covered. My questions are: 1. Is the package seem OK for single income parent with 3 kids (3,1 yrs and 2 months old)? 2. base on the hourly rate offered, what is the total annually income will be?
