I can't seem to find information on the after-school activities offered by Horizon School in Dubai. I've heard it's a good school but I want to check what extra-curricular activities the school offers. Any expat parents have kids there?

Last june we moved into a house we bought near evian. We went home in sept to do paperwork for long term visa. When we came back,we were told to present ourselves at office in anncey which we did,months later after no follow up,we called,answer was ,still processing. Now here it is april, still nothing,another call and the answer was oh,you have to go to grenoble. We are no strangers to expat life and understand the chaos and non information. We now have to find this mystery office, which it seems, closed till 23. All we have is phone number.

I've heard the American School of Dubai is one of the most expensive schools in Dubai - is the standard of education worth it? Do any expat parents have thoughts on ASD to share?

I have been approached with a potential job opertunity in Abu Dhabi, they have mention £70,000.00 + childrens education (up to 3 children up to 18) but we have to find our own accomodation. I have found lots of different views on houses / flats, £20,000.00 to £30,000.00 for a family of four, is that about right? The bottom line is, can I support my family on that?

I'm sent (for the next 12 month at least) from my international company (based in Germany) to Norway - to represent our company here as well locally. But I'm still an employee of my german company, getting my salary from there. My company has no branch office in Norway till now. this is in process of negotiation with our german lawyer + tax office right now. BUT my question, how about registering myself?, I'm german, means EU-citizen but staying for more than 6 month (at least 12 month) in Norway. Thx for any response! Jenny

I'm moving to Saudi Arabia soon, but I'm worried about the fact that I am a Christian and the country seems to be very Islamic. I've heard that there are no Christian churches in Saudi. Is this true? I want to be take my bible with me, but will I be able to, and will I still be able to practice my own religion in Saudi Arabia? 

is there a such thing as Sufficient Traveller's Fund fee to have on you to be able to leave nigeria. A supposed girlfriend has told me she has to have a required amount on her for safe travel from nigeria to the USA called Sufficient Traveller's Fund. She got me email from embassy and the guy wrote back that she does. I have also emailed on my own other places and got replys also stating you have to be able to show 6 months of accounts or statements assuring you can be able to leave the country of nigeria.
