How do I bring my vehicle into Norway?

Expert Info

Hi everyone! My partner and I are hoping to move to Norway in a couple of months, to travel around the continent in a van and make a documentary of our adventure. Question is- how much would it cost us to import our secondhand van? I read an article which dates back to 2004 which says that we don't need to do anything in particular if we plan to stay in Norway for less than a year. -Does this mean we can just enter the country via the ferry and drive off, or do we need to register somewhere still, pass some kind of test ?

Advice on international schools in Belgium - Bogaerts vs ISF?

We are an Anglophone family moving from France to Belgium (we have been in France for 7 years). We will be moving to Belgium and are looking for affordable International schools as we are self-funding. We have an 11 year old and 13 year old and it seems that the only Anglophone International schools to fit our budget are Bogaerts and International School of Flanders both in Waterloo. We hope that the children will complete their secondary education in Belgium so would be grateful for any feedback on these. I am aware that Bogaerts follows IB and ISF , A levels.

Reference with news dated 26-02-2016 - "People with old tuberculosis scars can get UAE visa". It's a great news for me as well as many people suffer from the Ban from old policy and couldn't enter UAE. But I have one question regarding this issue that people who had Immigration Ban on their names because of old policy, now what will be the status of their Bans? Are their Bans removed automatically after this amendment in policy and they can apply new visa directly? or they have to apply some departments to request to remove their Bans?

Hello, I'm looking to move out to Melbourne or Sydney in the summer (uk) of 2017. I was wondering if a 1 to 2 year working holiday Visa would be suitable for me if I'm only planning to work barista roles and things like that. Furthermore, is it best to have a job lined up before I go, or just ensure I have enough money saved up to keep my head above water while I look when I've arrived? I'm 23, British and female.

I recently got a job offer from a company located in Slough. The offer was around 85,000 pounds per year, plus bonus and health insurance and I would be moving with my wife and two small children (4 years and 4 months). As I have no clue of the cost of living in the UK or if Slough is a nice area to live (from what I read in the internet, it doesn't seem so...), I would appreciate your help on the following topics: - Where should I look for a place to live (Slough, London, surroundings...)? - Is the package that they are offering me enough to live a "relaxed" (i.e.

Hi all,

I am an entrepreneur who is currently based in the UK. I've heard that it is a good time to invest in Qatar in the run up to the FIFA 2022 World Cup. But I was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of business practics in Qatar? Are they open to working with foreigners? What is the business culture like? Is the infrastructure good or is there lots of bureaucracy?

Plese share your thoughts.

Hi there,

My husband and I are moving to Saudi Arabia from Spain as he has a job in the oil industry. I am a little apprehensive about the move but this is mainly because I am worried about losing my independence. How do women get about in Saudi Arabi if they are banned from driving? Can I use public transport or will I have to rely on my husband to take me everywhere?

Hi Everyone, We will be moving soon from Egypt to Oman. Of course one of the main issues of settling in is furniture. We would like to buy from IKEA Dubai. They say they only deliver within the UAE but it can be shipped by third party freight company. We've been thinking of renting out an SUV and transporting the goods ourselves. Has anyone tried this before? Just wanted to know would this help me save on freight charges or will the SUV rental and gas money be more.

Hello, I am retired. I am from the USA, but I live in Japan. I want to have a vacation condo in the Philippines. However, I am not sure if I should rent or buy a condo. Could anyone give me advice or to help me decide what I should do. I want to stay in the Philippines during winter time because I don't like the cold weather in Japan. I stayed there last winter, but it cost a lot; I paid over $1,000 USD for 16days. I was thinking that I could rent a condo, but If I buy a condo then I do not have to worry about finding a place to rent.

I have thoroughly researched US visa requirements and am looking for a job/company that sponsors H1B visa. I would really appreciate any advice from someone with expertise in this field, or with personal experience of my situation on the best ways to network, raise my profile and improve my chances of securing a job opportunity. My challenge is that I am only eligible for the H1B speciality visa ie.
